The US and the Afghan Taliban have made "significant progress" in talks aimed at ending the 17-year-old conflict in Afghanistan, the US envoy has said. In a series of tweets, Zalmay Khalilzad did not give details but said the unprecedented six days of talks in Qatar were "more productive than they have been in the past". He said he was on his way to Kabul to consult Afghan government officials. Earlier, Taliban sources said the two sides had finalised a draft agreement. The deal calls for a withdrawal of foreign forces in return for assurances that al-Qaeda and the Islamic State (IS) group will not be allowed to use Afghanistan as a base, the sources said. Disgraced American movie producer Harvey Weinstein who was once at the top of Hollywood, has finally admitted to some of the sexual harassment allegations put forward by his alleged victims.
In an interview published yesterday, the disgraced movie producer said he offered acting jobs in exchange for sex just like every other producers.
He however said he has never in his life forced himself on women.
Here is what he told The Spectator columnist Taki Theodoracopulos.
Yes, I did offer them acting jobs in exchange for sex. But so did and still does everyone.His lawyer, Ben Brafman who admitted that Weinstein granted the interview to Taki however said what was reported about the producer was not accurate.

On the 5th of June 2018, Weinstein entered a not guilty plea at a New York Courthouse when he was arraigned on rape and criminal sex act charges.
Although dozens of women have accused him of sexual harassment, the 66-year-old movie mogul had denied all the allegations.
He has been granted $1 million bail.
